We had a very scary and interesting day on Friday... Jaden and I walked over to get Mikayla from the bus, and we were surprised when she didn't get off... so I walked over to ask the bus driver where she was, and he said, "O she got off already" WELL, I was standing right there and she did NOT get off, where is she? he tells me that she was ON the bus when they left the school, so she must have gotten off at one of the other stops. so I ask which one (so I can go get her) and he tells me, "O I don't pay any attention to the kids getting on and off the bus" OK, LISTEN MISTER!! I could not believe it, he was sitting there calmly telling me my 5 year old is lost in Orem "somewhere"... so I run home and call the school, and they give me a phone number in PLEASANT GROVE for the bus garage... I told her look lady you lost my 5 yr old, and you better FIND HER. anyways to make a long story even longer, they found her WALKING HOME on Geneva Road!!!!! BY HERSELF! I guess she had a substitute teacher that day that decided not to make sure the kids got on their buses... when she got home, I asked her what happened... she said "I missed the bus so I decided to follow the bus and walk home!" Needless to say, we had a good talk about what to do if she misses the bus again!

Are you kidding me??? I would have had a heart attack! Seriously, that is not okay. It is scary that the bus drivers don't pay attention. Luckily she was okay. Glad you have a blog now...
Talk about panic attack time! So sorry you all had to go through that! BUT as Ken would say: It was very resourceful of Mikayla to figure out what to do [even if it might not have been the BEST thing]!
