Cool Dude Jax!

Jaden decided that Jax would look really cool in his Lightning McQueen sunglasses, so I helped him put them on the baby. Jax was soo funny! he just jutted out his little chin and looked around. He never once tried to take them off. I guess Jax thought he looked pretty cool, too! Jade has decided that those are Jaxsons glasses now and has adopted MY sunglasses as his own... he LOVES wearing glasses! every time we turn around he is wearing either my prescription glasses or Mikaylas! he shuts his eyes and says "I can't see, Mom... I need your glasses on!" so I have convinced him that the sunglassses work the same as prescription glasses... what a weirdo!!

New hair for the boys too!!

We finally bought a "buzzer" (whatever its called!) to cut the boys hair... since all we do is shave them I figure I can't really mess up! Unfortunatley, Jaden decided that "only boys can cut his hair"... so I told him "thats OK Daddy can cut it". Well, of course he had an answer to that one too... "Only Kell can cut my hair". OK! eventually I convinced him that it was OK to get his hair cut by his parents, and then he came up with " but I can only cut my hair on Tuesdays"... so we waited til Tuesday... then it was "only on Saturdays"... well, I had pretty much given up on getting his hair cut (he obviously doesn't like getting it cut!!) when Brian pulled out the buzzer to cut his own hair. Well, Jaden was really interested and got his bench out and was watching Daddy cut his hair, so I grabbed the buzzer and cut straight up the front of his hair, and asked him if it was OK if we cut his hair now?? later that night he was standing in the kitchen with his "thinking look" and he turned to me and said "I want my hair back!" what a cute kid!!

A Visit from Kell

Uncle Kelly came over last Sunday to see us, and we had such a fun time visiting and hanging out with him... as you can see, Macie abandoned all the kids to Kells care and went "away" for a while... what a good Uncle he is... I think he is our kids favorite person in all the world!! We love our Uncle Kell!! and it seems Mikayla and Jaden found my camera and started a photo shoot without my knowledge... Kayla is getting pretty good at this picture taking thing... I may have to get her a digital camera for her birthday so she will leave mine alone!
