Easter

We had a really great Easter this year. We woke up to find all kinds of presents and goodies from and Easter Bunny! Jaden got Thomas the train stuff and Kayla got an Ariel "barbie" and some dress up jewelry... I was a little skeptical about that last one, cause we all know how much she likes to "dress up" but it is her absolute favorite!! she even loves to wear the earings!! Jaden tried it all on, and thankfully said he "didn't like the earings"... whew... hope that carries over into his teenage years!!

spring break vacation!!

NO we didn't go and PARTY in Cancun... Brian, the kids and I went to visit some of our Crabtree family in Auburn, Washington this March... we had such a great time seeing everyone, and getting reaquainted!! The kids had so much fun together! They played outside (in the rain, of course!) and ran around the house together til the adults were about to drop! We had a movie night one night and I think Jaden was missing his boy cousins a little... there was no one there to vote against Candy Land and watch Thomas with him... I think after a while he was getting a little bored of all the "girl" stuff they were doing!!

Little Allie really latched onto Baby Jax... I let her feed him a bottle once and she thought that was the coolest thing ever! she followed me around after that asking if the baby was hungry so she could feed him again! when we left I had to beg her to let go of one of his bottles because she wouldn't let it go!! she is such a sweet little girl! I told Ash to watch out cause I just might put her in the car and take her home with us! We do need another girl at our house, after all!!

and lastly we have Kayla and Sam... otherwise known as two of the cutest and cheesies Crabtree girls around... they really bonded on this trip and are now fast friends!! they had a great time making funny faces for my camera and giggling!! what fun we had!!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa C. for having us!!!

Grumpy Jaden

Jaden is getting to be a pretty grumpy boy!! we were taking pictures of Jax today for his " 3 month birthday" and I kept trying to take pictures of Jaden... well he just kept getting more and more mad, so I followed him to the bathroom to take a picture of him on the potty... of course he was way too fast for me and was already done so I got a picture of him walking down the hall trying to pull up his pants... it was so funny we all laughed 'til we cried!! that got him!

Baby Jax

Well, it has been a long road for our new little boy! he is only 3 months old, and already has had RSV twice... we are happy though that he is doing SOO well, and almost all well from the most recent bout with it! He is such a GOOD BABY! he sleeps 5 hours, is up for a bottle, and right back to bed then sleeps another 3 or 4!! I guess I can't complain! and he is very cute... already smiling and "talking". also, he loves his toys and kisses and his big brother and sister... but of course he loves Mom and Dad most of all!

Mikayla and the school bus...

We had a very scary and interesting day on Friday... Jaden and I walked over to get Mikayla from the bus, and we were surprised when she didn't get off... so I walked over to ask the bus driver where she was, and he said, "O she got off already" WELL, I was standing right there and she did NOT get off, where is she? he tells me that she was ON the bus when they left the school, so she must have gotten off at one of the other stops. so I ask which one (so I can go get her) and he tells me, "O I don't pay any attention to the kids getting on and off the bus" OK, LISTEN MISTER!! I could not believe it, he was sitting there calmly telling me my 5 year old is lost in Orem "somewhere"... so I run home and call the school, and they give me a phone number in PLEASANT GROVE for the bus garage... I told her look lady you lost my 5 yr old, and you better FIND HER. anyways to make a long story even longer, they found her WALKING HOME on Geneva Road!!!!! BY HERSELF! I guess she had a substitute teacher that day that decided not to make sure the kids got on their buses... when she got home, I asked her what happened... she said "I missed the bus so I decided to follow the bus and walk home!" Needless to say, we had a good talk about what to do if she misses the bus again!
